ARLINGTON NATIONAL CEMETERY BUS PARKING LOT CLOSES FOR REPAIR ON MONDAY, OCT. 19, 2009 THRU SPRING 2010.
The bus parking lot at Arlington National Cemetery’s Visitors Center will close on Monday, Oct. 19 for repair work to fix its deteriorating condition.
The repair work will be overseen by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District, and is scheduled to last several months due to the scope of the project, which will replace the asphalt in the bus parking lot with concrete.
Buses transporting visitors to the cemetery will be required to drop passengers off on Memorial Drive and return later for passenger pick up. There are no alternate parking arrangements for buses during this renovation project.
